Yuumi, Shaco, Teemo, Zed, Katarina are clearly above the rest at the moment. If you want to win games without too much hassle, start there.

D-Tier: to avoid in ranked

Garen, Annie, Ashe, Sona. Not necessarily bad in themselves, just not adapted to the current meta. For normal games, no problem.

A
Fizz, Evelynn, Akali, Yasuo, Yone Very solid, slightly below S-tier but perfectly viable in ranked.
B
Lux, Morgana, Heimerdinger, Blitzcrank, Nasus Correct if you master them. Not the strongest picks but not bad either.
C
Tryndamere, Master Yi, Darius, Illaoi Situational. It can work in certain compositions but you have to know what you are doing.
